We offer packaged ice manufacturing and delivery, as well as, block ice and various decorative custom-made ice pieces. Type of Employment: Full Time – Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: Prepare or oversee preparation of sales or other contracts Conduct sales transactions Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates Identify and solicit potential clients Consult with clients after sale or signed contracts Provide customer service Visit clients for sales pitching purposes Meet monthly sales objectives Implement sales strategies Solve issues that may arise with customers May assist with some delivery of products if necessary Requirements: Education: Completion of secondary school is required. Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a salesperson is required. On-the-job training will be provided. Valid driver’s license is required Previous knowledge in engineering and/or maintenance of ice manufacturing equipment is an asset. Specialized knowledge in ice manufacturing is a strong asset. Computer and technology knowledge: Word processing software, Electronic mail, Spreadsheet knowledge is required. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail. Salary: $26.44 per hour, 32 – 70 hours per week. Benefits: Gratuities, transportation costs paid. Vehicle supplied by employer. Commissions. Important information: Flexibility on schedule is required. The work schedule will change depending on the season. The candidate will work between 8 – 10 hours per day. During the summer, we are open 7 days a week starting at 7:00 AM, and during the winter, we are open 4 days a week starting at 9:00 AM. The candidate will have two days off per week during summer and three days off per week during winter on a rotational basis. Work on weekends and overtime may be required during the summer months.
