We currently have an immediate need for a hardworking and dedicated Field Sales Representative. We are the first ever start-up distributorship for suppliers in the automotive industry. We work with auto dealers to drive improved auto dealership performance and profitability through best-in-class finance and insurance products, extended warranties, subprime financing and inventory financing solutions. Our products and services are aimed to assist and provide car dealers the resources and support to run a healthy and profitable business. The person in this position is responsible for prospecting, soliciting, developing and maintaining business relationships with mainly used car dealerships composed of medium to large-sized organizations. Job Description • Business development in the automotive market, the target being medium to large-sized car dealers. • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients. • Generate leads, cold call on new prospects, setup meetings and regularly follow up • Build a pipeline of prospects and close new business opportunities • Develop, negotiate, and close new business opportunities with clients • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients. • Demonstrate thorough understanding of our products and offerings (training provided) • Preparing weekly and monthly reports, maintain an accurate pipeline of all opportunities, contacts and account history. • Meet and exceed individual business development and sales quotas • Work closely with marketing team with an active commitment to client satisfaction • Participating on periodic conference calls, both regional and national • Assisting with initial training commitments for new clients Qualifications and Experience • Must have at least 5 years’ experience in solutions selling, within the Automotive industry • Excellent organizational and follow up skills, presentation and prospecting skills • Knowledge of finance and insurance products, training and reinsurance • Extensive contacts and knowledge within the automotive industry preferred • Ability to work independently and a team player • Good people management skills • Mature management of client relationship • Must possess a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
