A successful applicant will be communicative, dependable, organized, motivated and hard working with relevant experience in sales and marketing, eager to accomplish assignments on the daily basis. The ideal candidate will be in charge of assisting team members with the day-to-day marketing tasks, which include business development and sales duties. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the Marketing Administrator on the assigned territory executing tasks and daily responsibilities Implement the aspects of the sales campaign by preparing lists of prospects, qualifying and establishing leads and accounts to create sales-ready opportunities Work with the Sales Team to strategically sell brand’s products and services with creating urgency by demonstrating value Represent the company and create brand awareness within the market Achieve monthly quotas and exceed activity and goals Use salesforce to track overall performance of assigned client base. Gather, analyze and provide reports and data of the clientele to obtain pertinent information concerning past and current advertising for use in sales presentation. Attend team meetings and trade shows as assigned to discuss, strategize and implement improvement processes into the sales campaign Work in CRM and computer database entering customer related information. Contacts and visits prospects to demonstrate the advantages of having an advertisement, while exhibiting prepared samples. Deliberates with advertisers to determine timing of an ad insertions and reinsertions. Presents and negotiates rates as well as the contracts with clients. Collects and supervises collection of payments due. Prepares, or supervises preparation of, ad layout and presents to client for approval. Notifies current and potential advertisers of opportunities of interest, such as a related topical article. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Job Requirements: Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or any related field Preferred Experience: 1 to 2 years in related field Track record of successful sales, from lead generation to closing Ability to manage priorities and time Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong computer skills Self-starter with proactive attitude Energetic and motivated to perform and accomplish things Passionate about sales Preferred Qualifications: Design - Produces creative solutions; Transforms concepts and information into images; Demonstrates excellent presentation skills and attention to details.
