Solar Advisor (Sales and Consulting) - Empower Energy Corp. If you look at any great organization, you will see that it is the people that make it great. We are looking for more of these people. Are you ready for a challenge? Empower Energy Corp. was founded in 2015 in Grande Prairie, AB and quickly expanded into Kelowna, BC in early 2016. In 2017 we expanded our territory into the Kootenays and are continuing to grow. Our long-term vision is to have an employee-owned company that can Empower people worldwide. While our focus in business is solar, our passion is people. We have a desire to positively impact as many lives as possible. Empower Energy Corp. is currently seeking to hire a solar advisor. You will be responsible for establishing and leading our division in the Greater Vancouver Area. Vancouver has committed to becoming a renewable city with 100of their energy coming from renewable resources by 2050, this presents the solar industry with tremendous opportunity. This will be a different kind of sales role. Your Responsibilities -Advising customers on the right solar powered solution for their home or business -Making outbound calls and emails. -Receiving inbound calls and emails. -Presenting proposals and educating home and business owners about solar energy and the benefits of investing. -Following up with potential customers -Tradeshows -Creating revenue by managing your territory -Sourcing new clients -Working from home We understand that it will take time for the right person to develop in this market. Therefore, no sales quota’s will be initiated. Further, this position has a commission based compensation plan and it is advised for the first year that you have another source of income. It should be noted that there will be no caps on commissions. A cell phone, business cards, marketing pamphlets, and training will be provided. If you are successful after the 1-year is complete, we will re-negotiate the full terms including compensation and shareholder opportunities.
