Work Location: 170 Admiral Blvd, Mississauga, ON, L5T 2N6 and various locations across Ontario except by the Northeast region, as required by on-site customer service. Occasional business trips to the US will be needed.
Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent

Job Description:

•Maintain and promote sales relationships with existing clients
•Identify and solicit potential clients
•Assess client’s needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services and negotiate prices or other sales terms
•Deliver sales presentations
•Develop proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good service
•Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service
•Prepare and administer sales contracts and maintain customer records
•Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client’s needs
•Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
•Train customers’ staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment
•Resolve product and service related problems
•Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists
•Troubleshoot technical problems related to equipment
•Develop and maintain technical product or service knowledge to explain features to clients and answer questions about goods or services
•Develop, implement and report on marketing plans and sales strategies to achieve business goals
•Assess market conditions and competitors' activities and develop an awareness of emerging


Requirements:

-Education: a university degree or college diploma in mechanical engineering or any other related field is required.
-Experience: at least 1 year of experience in sales is required. Experience using Solidworks Software is an asset.
-Driver’s license is required.
-Knowledge of tool manufacturing/tool industry is required
-Working knowledge of computers and related work
-Ability to proficiently use phone/fax/email technology
-Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, attention to detail, work under pressure.
-Personal suitability: team player, effective interpersonal skills, organized, reliability, excellent oral and written communication, client focus.

Salary: $25.00 to $27.00 hourly, 30-34 hours per week.

Benefits: Extended Medical Insurance, Trip insurance, Pension, employees could use the company’s cars whenever it is necessary to fulfill work-related activities. We also provide commissions depending on the number of sales (2% of the projects’ total sales).

Important Information: Most common schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. It includes 30 minutes of lunch break and two healthy breaks of 10 minutes. Flexibility on schedule is required due to customer service.
